This brand began with one question.

Ian was my brother-in-law, a proud Canadian Indigenous man, and lived with diabetes most of his life. In 2023, doctors amputated his leg — not because solutions didn’t exist, but because they came too late.
In Canada, this reality is especially severe in Indigenous communities, where lack of early prevention often leads to wounds, infections, and amputations.

The day before my wedding, Ian asked me:
“Can you find a solution?”

Barefoot footwear wasn’t a trend for us. It was logic — space for toes, no artificial elevation, natural movement.
We designed the first pair for Ian.
He wore them days before his passing in 2025.

This brand exists to carry his question forward — by focusing on prevention, not correction,
and respecting the foot before it breaks.
